As we celebrate this year’s graduating seniors, we are proud to recognize Jayla Tripp, a dedicated dancer and leader within the DASH community.
Jayla is a senior at Westlake High School, where she has maintained an impressive 3.6 GPAÂ while balancing academics and her passion for the arts. Outside of dance, Jayla enjoys traveling, cooking, and photography, and she plans to pursue a career in the medical field as an anesthesia technician.
During her time at DASH, Jayla has grown not only as a dancer but also as a leader and role model for younger students.
“Being a part of DASH has helped me step outside of my comfort zone and explore different types of dance. I’ve also learned how to be a leader and set a good example for those younger than me.”— Jayla Tripp
Her growth has also been evident to those closest to her. Her mother, Chakai Adams-Tripp, has watched Jayla blossom both artistically and personally.
“Since she’s been at DASH, I have seen her enthusiasm and confidence grow tremendously. Jayla truly lights up whenever it is time to dance. I have also noticed significant improvement in her form, posture, and overall energy. It has been especially rewarding to watch her emerge as a leader, taking on responsibilities and supporting the younger dancers.”
Jayla’s commitment to growth extends beyond the dance studio. Spiritually, she hopes to deepen her faith by becoming involved in LDC and attending SKE.
At DASH, we are incredibly proud of the young woman Jayla has become. Her leadership, dedication, and positive spirit have made a lasting impact on our community. We look forward to watching her continue to grow, pursue her goals, and make her mark on the world.
Congratulations, Jayla! Your DASH is just beginning.
